I want to thank you, Gigi and your entire team for the fast and efficient sale of my home at 2001 Mills Avenue. As you probably remember, I was skeptical of Peninsula Homes offer to list my property for only 1.5% commission. I couldn't help but wonder what the "catch" was as it seemed too good to be true. Now that I've gone through the entire process, I must tell you that of the four properties I've sold in my life, you and your team over-delivered on every dimension of the sale. Throughout the process you provided outstanding suggestions, hooked me up with reputable vendors, kept me informed about the sale and most importantly sold the property at exactly the price I was asking. When I look back on the effort, there's not a single time you said "no" to any of my requests and on top of it all you dealt with my demanding travel schedule without even one complaint. I can guarantee that when I need a realtor again, either as a seller or buyer, I will be back at Peninsula Homes. In fact, I almost wish I had another property to sell to do it again! Thank you for the excellent work you did for my family in helping us sell our parents' home. You were always so calm, helpful and extremely capable - we feel very lucky to have worked with you during what was an emotional and trying time for us. It is never easy to say good bye to the home one grew up in, but you and your staff made it as positive an experience as it possibly could be. Your half-price commission policy was a huge help - you suggested that rather than paying you 3% commission, we pay you half of that and use the other half to fix up the house for selling. Following this plan, we were able to paint the house, put in new floors, install a new water heater, make many minor repairs and stage the house beautifully - what a huge improvement this made in the home! In addition, you know a seemingly endless list of experts ready to quickly paint, repair, stage and otherwise fix up a home. Even though you are a half-commission broker, you worked much more than I would expect a full-commission broker to work -- scheduling and supervising all these teams of workers. You always had excellent ideas on how to proceed on the many occasions when my sisters and I were stymied on what to do next. When it came to pricing, marketing and showing the house you were fantastic! We were so happy with the many offers receieved on the house and the handling of the sale. Perhaps what we'll remember most though, is your supportive, calm demeanor as you dropped by on us and offered excellent ideas, great crews of helpers and words of encouragement as we cleared out the forty-five years of accumulations! Even though you must be very busy, you always acted as if you had all the time in the world to listen, talk, and offer help and advice. You always followed through on your commitments and did an excellent job supervising the many helpful crews of home improvement people that you brought in to spruce up the house.
