listing fee?
A: No, We are a full service real estate company and all
services are included in the 1.5% listing fee.
Q. How much do I pay the agent representing the buyer
of my home?
A. 2.5 - 3% is the typical commission for bringing in a buyer
and completing the sale. Sometimes in the higher price range
a lower commission can be offered.
Q: How can you give full service for only 1.5% commission
when most agents charge 3% listing commission?
A: Most agents spend time and money competing with hundreds of
agents in the area for your listing. We don’t.
The sellers come to us to take advantage of our 1.5%
listing fee. Since we receive so many calls we do not need
to “buy” listings. The sellers we choose to represent are
realistic about the market and ready to sell, which is why
our sales to listings ratio is one of the highest in the
business.
Q: How long have you been in the business of selling real
estate?
A: The Broker, Bob Williams, has been selling residential
real estate for more than 20 years on the mid peninsula,
with over $400 million dollars in company sales.
Q: Do other agents show your listings?
A: Yes. The only concern a buyers agent has is finding the right home
for their clients. The agent receives the same selling commission whether
the home is listed by Coldwell Banker or Peninsula Homes Realty. We recently
sold a home in Palo Alto with 29 offers. Most of the offers were from Alain Pinel
and Coldwell Banker agents. The property sold for $325,000 over the asking price!
Q: What is the difference between Peninsula Homes Realty and
the other large companies in the area?
A: Nothing.... except the commission savings.
